This year is the second year I have choreographed the highland dances for Pipin’ Hot, and have been a member of the dance group for four years.
I am 17 years old and employed by the Mataura Licensing Trust.
I travel from Gore once a week to train with my teacher Racheal McDowell.
Last year, I was fortunate to travel to Virginia, USA with a New Zealand Academy Team of highland dancers.
Later in the year I traveled with 40 other dancers to the Edinburgh Tattoo. These experiences are something I will treasure forever, and it was an honour to represent New Zealand at these prestigious events.
This year, I have just returned from the New Zealand Under 18 Nationals in Auckland.
In October, I am looking forward to travelling to Germany with Pipeworkz along with four other dancers.
