Pipin' Hot Pipin' Hot Concepts | Reviews | Stars of Pipin' Hot | Pipin' Hot Sponsors Neil Chilton Vocalist for Pipin’ Hot 2003 Neil played his first gig at age 15. He has played in several bands including Prediction, Tarbet and Airstrike. He left Invercargill and toured around New Zealand for 18 months and then went on to Australia where he struck a record deal with Polygron. He recorded and released 3 singles in the band Karma. Neil returned to New Zealand in 1987 and started the popular local band “Baker Boys” in 1989 and continued in this band for 12 years. He was named Southland Vocalist of the Year in 1995 and Southland Entertainer of the Year in 1998. He released the CD Obsession in 1998 and is currently in the band Thunderbirds.
