Bungy Jumping Piper
Believed to be a world first (1995), City of Invercargill piper Roddy McMillian (kilted and with bagpipes) bungy jumps off a bridge in New Zealand's adventure capital, Queenstown.

The pipes weren't however MacDougalls or Hendersons, but a set specially created by this master craftsman for the ocassion. He promised that they were playable as he went down but apologised for there being the odd block!
Not to be outdone fellow bandsman and snare drummer Tom Edwards was next to jump... attached to both the bungy and a drum! While his musical performance remains a mystery it was rumoured he may have lost his drumsticks to the rapids in the river below?
